Ramdhan Al-Mubarak – How Far Should the Children Be Involved

Muslims are required to fast during the month of Ramadhan. Fasting means to abstain “completely” from foods, drinks as well as performing acts which break “fast”. Muslim children are not required to fast for Ramadan until they reach the age of maturity (puberty). However, parents are encouraged to educate their children in this holy month. How far the children should go when it comes to fasting?
