Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri Scores Prestigious The BrandLaureate World BestBrands Award 2019
Iskandar Puteri, Johor – Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri (CAH-IP) has been named as the winner for The BrandLaureate World BestBrands Award 2019 in Healthcare-Private Hospital category. The award was presented to Puan Rahani Yaacob, Columbia Asia Regional General Manager (Southern) by BrandLaureate Chairman, Tan Sri Rainer Althoff during the gala dinner and awards ceremony in Singapore yesterday.
“It is truly an honour for Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri to receive the BestBrands in Healthcare-Private Hospital category. Receiving this prestigious award is a testament of our success and iconic status and branding through everyone’s hard work and dedication towards providing excellence and quality healthcare services with passion,” said Puan Rahani Yaacob.
She added, winning this award certainly motivates us to continue to excel in all aspects of our services, and I dedicate this award to our loyal patients, medical consultants, management, all staffs and corporate clients force for the instrumental role that they have played in our success,” she said.

“It has been quite a journey for Columbia Asia Hospital – Iskandar Puteri. Patients’ visits and admissions have been steadily increasing tremendously. We are continuing to make progress to meet the growing patients’ demands from Johor, including expatriates and tourists from other countries such as Indonesia, China, India, Philippines, Singapore and Middle East countries,” said Puan Rahani.
She adds, “CAH-IP are currently undergoing construction of our new medical ward which will accommodate Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Ward with additional 19 beds and expansion of our new Accident & Emergency area with larger waiting area and more emergency bays, the expansion is to provide comfort to our patients and meet the growing population of the hospital and forecast to be operational in the third quarter of 2020.”
Puan Rahani also added on the current progress of Columbia Asia Hospital – Tebrau.
“Columbia Asia’s latest facility in Johor, Columbia Asia Hospital – Tebrau is scheduled to be launched by end of this year. Our staff currently working hard towards the launching and this hospital will be the biggest Columbia Asia Hospital facility in Malaysia.”
