Columbia Asia Fete Orphans

A total of 40 orphans and underprivileged children from Baitun Nurrawdhah were celebrated today at an Iftar event organized by the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) in collaboration with Columbia Asia Hospital – Setapak.

Bernama’s Chief Executive Officer, Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, said that this program with Columbia Asia is the second event organized together with Bernama.

“We previously collaborated for the Deepavali celebration last year, and I see this partnership as very positive, as we share the common goal of assisting underprivileged children and bringing joy to them,” she said.

She said this at the Ramadan Iftar event with the orphans and underprivileged children from Baitun Nurrawdhah, which was also attended by Deputy Editor-in-Chief (News Services), Nasriah Darus, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief (Economic News Services), Azlina Aziz.

At the event, the orphans and underprivileged children were given gifts, Raya clothes, and Raya money (duit raya).
